Route3: Two-day Tour of the Yungang Grottoes in Datong
Day1: Tourists will start off bu bus at the Olympic Village at 09:00, arrive in Datong in three hours, and check in at the Datong Guesthouse. They will visit the Yungang Grottoes and Huayan Temple at 14:00, and have supper.
Day2: Tourists will have buffer breakfast at the hotel at 8:00, visit the Nine-dragon Screen and Overhanging Monastery at 09:00, leave Datong for Beijing at 14:00 after lunch, and return to the Olympic Village at about 17:00.
Route4: Five-day Tour of Datong, Mount Wutai and Taiyuan
Day1: Tourists will set out at 09:00 by bus, arrive in Datong at noon, visit the Yugang Grottoes and Huayan Temple and check in a hotel in Datong.
Day2: Tourists will start off at 08:30 to visit the Overhanging Monastery in Hunyuan County, Earthen Cave Dwelling Village and Wooden Pagoda in Yingxian County, and arrive in Mount Wutai in the evening (starting at Mount Wutai)
Day3: Tourists will leave the hotel for Mount Wutai at 08:30, and go to Taiyuan in the afternoon by bus (staying at Taowu).
Day4: Tourists will set out to visit the Qiao Family Countyard, Shuanglin Temple and Ancient City of Pingyao, and return to Taiyuan in the afternoon ( staying at Taiyuan).
Day5: Tourists will leave for the Jin Shine at 08:30, leave for Beijing a t 13:00by bus and arrive in Beijing at about 19:00.

Route5: Five day Tour of Datong, Pingyao and Taiyuan
Day1: From Beijing to Datong by train (including supper)
Tourists will go from Beijing to Datong by train No.1010 or 1627 and appreciate the beautiful scenery of the Central Plains on the way. They will be picked up at the railway station.
Day2: Travel in Datong by bus (including breakfast, lunch and supper) Tourists will visit the Yungang Grottoes, a world cultural heritage and one of the three major grottoes in China, and Huayan Temple.
Day3: From Datong to Pingyao by bus (including breakfast, lunch and supper) After breakfast, tourists will visit the Overhanging Monastery of Mt.Hengshan, a world architectural marvel, and the Wooden Pagoda of the Liao Dynasty (916-1125) in Yingxian County, and then go to Pingyao by bus.
Day4: Pingyao (including breakfast , lunch and supper)
After breakfast, tourists will visit the Ancient City of Pingyao, a world cultural heritage and one of the four ancient cities in China. Tourists will take a tour of the Ancient City of Pingyao, visit the Rishengchang Exchange Bank, the originator of the banks in China, the Ming-Qing style Street which is known as the “Wall Street of China”, and the Qiao Family Courtyard where the film Raise the Red Lanterns was shot, and return to Taiyuan. Tourists will go back to Beijing by train.
Day5: Pingyao-Taiyuan-Beijing by bus and air (including breakfast)
Tourists will return to Taiyuan from Pingyao by bus after breakfast and then return to Beijing by air.
