Lake Baiyandian

Lake Baiyandian,the largest lake in North China Plain, lies in the central part of Hebei Province. The water from the upstream watercourse of the Tanghe River and the Zhulonghe River belonging to the Haihe River water system flows into the Grand Qinghe River to discharge. The Lake region is rich in aquatic products and there is a wide distribution area of reed. Most low-lying land around the lake has been transformed into rice fields.

LakeBaiyangdian is located in the territory of Baoding of Hebei Province, which is mainly in the border of Anxing County of Baoding District, and the rest part of which is in Cangzhou District, stretching across such counties and cities as Renqiu, Anxin, Rongcheng, Xiongxian and Gao Yang. It is the national key tourist areas and open areas. It is the largest freshwater lake in North China Plain with the water area of 366 square kilometers. The lake is 189 kilometers south from Shijiazhang, 162 kilometers north from Beijing and 155 kilometers east from Tianjin, the traffic is convenient, known as the hinterland of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.
