Located in Nanjing city, Jiangsu Province, Zhongshan Hill Scenic Area is a scenery spot that embraces the Zhongshan (Purple Mountain) and Xuanwu Lake in its central part.
Walking into the scenic spot, you’ll see hills going up and down wriggling like a Chinese dragon winding through the area. Here lies the purple mountain, ancient city walls of the Ming dynasty, Lake Xuanwu, the hill-lake transitional areas, as well as the lake-surrounding walls, castles and lower hillocks such as the Fugui hill, Fuzhou Hill and Jilong Hill, which together create a kind of mountain and water beauty, in which the glamour of hills, lakes, architectures and trees are blended into one. Also, the Fugui Hill, Fuzhou Hill and Jilong Hill, covered by green woods, present a picture of beautiful hills decorated with ancient towers.
