Known in Chinese as the "Shilin", the Stone Forest Yunnan in China is located in the Lunan Yi Nationality Autonomous County, 86 km away from the Yunnan Province capital, Kunming City. The scenic area consits of seven zones including “Daxiaoshilin” (the Big and Small Stone Forest), Naigu Stone Forest, Dadie Waterfall, Long Lake, Moon Lake, Zhiyun Cave and Strange Wind Cave, all of which feature stones in various formations covering an area of 400 km.
