YANGON, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar and Chinese companies will launch the first-ever Ice Wonderland at a famous amusement park in Yangon named Kandawgyi Park to add to tourist attraction, according to Thursday's local media.
The Ice Wonderland, built with up-dated technology by experts from China-based Jiang Xi Long Dia Culture Company and Asia Myanmar Consortium Development Company of Myanmar since last year, will be inaugurated on Feb. 25, said the Yangon Times.
The snow sculpture, made with 2,000 tons of ice, will be kept at a temperature of -10 Degree Celsius, it said, adding that large pieces of ice were sculpted into well-known figures or huge buildings which attracts interest of children.
Short ski tour will also be attached at the site which offers enjoyment for both young and adults, according to the sources.
For the safety of the visitors, first aid healthcare service will be provided, the companies assured.
Such ice wonderland are expected to appear in more cities for attracting visitors.
