On 20 April, ASEAN-China Centre(ACC) organized a familiarization tour for the diplomats of the Embassies of the ASEAN member states in China to Minzu University of China (MUC). Ambassadors of Brunei Darussalam, Laos, Malaysia, Vietnam and diplomats of other ASEAN member states participated in the tour.
Vice Minister of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission of China(SEAC) Mr. Tondrub Wangben met with the ASEAN Diplomats. Mr. Chen Li, President of MUC gave a comprehensive briefing on the MUC. The students of the College of Music and Dance presented an impressive performance to the guests. The tour gave a glimpse of brilliant and diversified culture and harmony among ethnic groups of China.
The visitors shown great interest in this meaningful event and expressed their desire to know more about China's ethnic culture and to enhance the cultural and educational cooperation between China and ASEAN.
