On 3 September 2012, Secretary-General Ma Mingqiang met with a Thai youth delegation consisting of 110 members who came to ACC for a visit. Representatives of All-China Youth Federation and Thai Embassy in Beijing attended the meeting.
Secretary-General Ma gave an detailed introduction of ASEAN-China relations, the background and obligations of ACC and the works done by ACC to promote ASEAN-China cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, education, culture and tourism. The Thai diplomat also briefed on the relations between Thailand and China.
Secretary-General Ma also shared his views with the visitors on questions such as youth exchange and cooperation between between Chinese and Thai young entrepreneurs, volunteer activities in China and regional youth association exchanges, etc.
