On 11 October 2012, Secretary-General Ma Mingqiang held working meeting with the commercial counsellors of ten ASEAN countries, the main content of which was to give a detailed introduction on the trade and investment activities carried out by ASEAN-China Centre and its working plan in the second half of 2012.
According to Secretary-General Ma, ACC was committed to fulfill the consensus reached by the leaders, setting up ASEAN products exhibition and sales centre in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province and providing communication platform for Chinese and ASEAN Governments and entrepreneurs. ACC would held a series of activities, such as organizing a commercial trip to the new city of Baigou, hosting "Access to ASEAN" Symposium in Zhejiang and Hainan Province on the sidelines of China Yiwu International Forest Products Fair and China International Tropical Agricultural Products Winter Trade Fair respectively, as well as assisting the Expo of Raw Material of Daily Chemical Products and Equipment Package in Jiangsu Province.
Vice Chairman Jiang Yingxiong of the Hainan Sub-council of CCPIT and the Commercial Counsellors of ten ASEAN Countries attended the meeting and made discussion on ACC's work and how to organize ASEAN companies participating the Expos.
