Secretary-General Ma Mingqiang Met With Deputy Chief of Mission of the Indonesian Embassy in China

On 14 January 2013, Secretary-General Ma Mingqiang met with Mr. Wisnu Edi Pratignyo who just assumed the post of Minister, Deputy Chief of Mission of the Indonesian Embassy in China. Secretary-General Ma briefly introduced the activities carried out by the ACC since its establishment to promote ASEAN-China functional cooperation in trade, investment, education, culture and tourism. Mr. Ma expressed thanks to the Indonesian Government and the Indonesian Embassy in China for their strong support extended to ACC.

Minister Wisnu Edi Pratignyo expressed appreciation for the remarkable achievement made by ACC within the short period of time since its establishment. He said that the Indonesian Government would dispatch an official to ACC and the Indonesian Embassy in China would carry out more activities jointly with ACC．

Secretary-General Ma expressed his expectation to the arrival of the Indonesian official and discussed with Minister Wisnu Edi Pratignyo on future cooperation between ACC and the Indonesian Embassy in China.
