The 3rd ASEAN-China FTA Joint Committee Meeting

On 13-14 March 2013，the 3rd ASEAN-China FTA Joint Committee Meeting was held in Yiwu city, Zhejiang province. This event included a Plenary and several working group meetings on Economic Cooperation, the Rules of Origin and Customs Procedures and Trade Facilitation, with the common themes on how to remove and minimize trade barriers between ASEAN and China and to promote economic and trade cooperation in the area. Around 120 Representatives from 10 ASEAN Member States, ASEAN Secretariat, the ASEAN-China Centre and Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, MOFCOM, General Administration of Customs, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine attended the meeting.
