Representatives from Indonesian and Cambodian Polytechnic Colleges Visited Vocational Colleges in Beijing

At the joint invitation of the ACC and the Indonesian Embassy in China, representatives from 6 Indonesian polytechnic colleges, vocational colleges, vocational high schools and 2 Cambodian vocational colleges visited Beijing from 25 to 31 May 2013. 

On 29 May 2013, the fourteen-member delegation visited Beijing Polytechnic and Beijing Polytechnic College.

At Beijing Polytechnic, the delegation was warmly received by President Wang Haiping and Vice President Zhao Peng, and held discussions with the deans of several departments. They were shown the training facilities of the departments of automobile engineering, automation engineering, machinery engineering and art design. At Beijing Polytechnic College, the delegation had talks with Dean Xu Weiyan and visited training facilities for engineering surveying, mining security and telecommunications engineering. The delegation signed 11  MOUs with the two colleges. 

This was a reciprocal visit after the 1st  first visit by a delegation from China's vocational colleges to ASEAN Member States organized by the ACC in March this year. This return visit was also coordinated by Beijing Municipal Education Commission.
