From 21 to 31 March and from 34 May to 8 June 2013, the shooting crews of the ASEAN-China Centre and Chinese Central Television went twice to Malaysia, shooting documentaries in Kuala Lumpur, Malacca, Johor Bahru and Penang. In order to gave a full display of the tourism attractions and delicacies of the muti-culture of Malaysia, The crews shot well-known sites, cultural activities and delicious food of Malaysia and covered persons of Kuala Lunpur TV Tower, Nyonya Museum, Foon Yew High School and Rasa Sayang Shangri-La Resort.
It is one of ACC's main tasks to promote people-to-people communication between ASEAN and China. The footages shot will be created into two documentaries, Discovery Southeast Asia-- Malaysia and Taste South East Asia--Malaysia, which are scheduled to air on CCTV--Science and Technology from January 2014.
