On 31 July 2013, ASEAN-China Centre co-organized the ASEAN Day Activity, together with China Degree and Graduate Education Development Center (CDGDC). H.E. Ms. Erlinda F. Basilio, Ambassador of the Phillipines delivered speech and Education Officials from the Embassies of Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, the Philippines and Singapore also visited CDGDC. Director of Education, Culture and Tourism of ACC, Mr. Tri Purnajaya delivered remarks and Deputy Director Mr. Wang Daoyu and Zheng Han of Ministry of Education attended the activity.
The CDGDC officials briefed the guest on the development of CDGDC, Asian Education Integration Proposal, as well as programs and services of authenticating diplomas for international students in China. They also extended invitation to ASEAN experts for Higher Education Quality Assurance Forum at the 6th ASEAN-China Educational Cooperation Week. This activity enhanced the communication between ASEAN Embassies and CDGDC on the service for ASEAN students in China and were highly appreciated.
CDGDC ASEAN Day is the 5th thematic activity held by ACC to push forward the Double 100,000 Students Plan between ASEAN and China.
