Cambodian Night Held at the ACC

On 20 August 2013, the ASEAN-China Centre and the Royal Embassy of Cambodia in Beijing co-hosted "Cambodian Night" cultural activity at the ACC. Secretary-General Mr. Ma Miangqiang, Mr. Gao Hua, Deputy Director-General of Bureau for External Cultural Relations of Ministry of Culture of China, and Cambodian Ambassador H.E. Mrs. Khek Caimealy Sysoda delivered welcoming speeches respectively.

Over 200 distinguished guests, including Ambassadors from ASEAN, African, Latin-American and European Countries, representatives of Chinese Culture Ministry, media attended the activity and watched the wonderful performance by Cambodian acrobatic students, who have been studying in Beijing International Arts School for 2 years, The Cambodian Students are studying in China under a Cultural exchange program sponsored by the Chinese Ministry of Culture.

The ACC has co-organized three ASEAN Culture Nights repectively with Thai, Indonesian and Cambodian Embassies in Beijing, to promote the culture exchanges and mutual understanding between the ASEAN and Chinese peoples.
