On 13 September 2013, a delegation consisting of 11 young ASEAN officials who were attending "2013 Understanding China Training Programm" paid a visit to ASEAN-China Centre.
The representatives of the four divisions of ACC held a meeting with the delegation. Ms. Qi Shuzhen, Director of General Affairs & Coordination expressed warm welcome to the young officials. Ms. Lada Phumas, Director of Information & Public Relations, made a detailed PPT presentation on the development of ACC and the activities held by ACC. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Wang Daoyu, Deputy Director of Education, Culture & Tourism. ACC representatives also answered questions which the officials raised on ACC projects setting, scholarship to ASEAN students, Chinese education in ASEAN, as well as ASEAN Products Exhibition & Sale Centre in Yiwu, etc.
Understanding China training program is commissioned by China's Foreign Affairs Ministry and Education Ministry and supported by Beijing Foreign Studies University. It has been held since 2010 and attained very good result.
