On 11 October 2013, ASEAN-China Centre presented Thai Ministry of Education with a set of vocational education teaching equipment in Bangkok. ACC’s cooperation partner, manufacturer of the equipment, Zhejiang Yalong Science and Technology Group Co. Ltd., held a ceremony to hand over a YL-335B automatic production line training equipment while attending the International Teaching Aids Expo in Bangkok. The equipment is an advanced professional training facility worth of RMB 200,000, or about USD 30,000.
Dr. Aganit Klungsang, Deputy Secretary-General of the Commission of Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education of Thailand, visited Yalong Company’s booth at the Expo and received the equipment. He expressed gratitude to ACC and Yalong Company on behalf of the Thai MOE, welcomed Yalong to the Expo, and expressed his wish for further bilateral cooperation. Prasit Sitthiviboonchai, President of Khonkaen Vocational College attended the ceremony. Thai MOE forwarded the equipment to the College for teaching and training.
On May 22, 2013, H.E. Mr. Phongthep Thepkanjana, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education of Thailand visited ACC. ACC Secretary-General Ma Mingqiang had a meeting with H.E. Mr. Phongthep Thepkanjana, and both sides reached agreement on ACC presenting Thai MOE with teaching equipment provided by Yalong Company to promote cooperation and exchanges in vocational education.
