From 21 to 23 October 2013, the representative of ASEAN-China Centre attend the 7th Tourism Trends and Outlook Forum and was invited to make introduction on ACC’s work to promote ASEAN-China tourism cooperation in the technical session.
With the main theme of “Tourism Development: New Knowledge; Practices and Challenge”, this forum was divided into two parts of technical session and general meeting. The representatives from governments, academic circles, and private sectors would make discussion on the problems and challenges of tourism development in the technical session, while renowned speakers in tourism industry were invited to share new knowledge and practical examples in the general meeting.
The forum was organized by World Tourism Organization of UN, hosted by Asia-Pacific Tourism Association, assisted by Guilin Municipal People’s Government, Guangxi Provincial Tourism Bureau and Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and had BBC World as international media support. It attracted more than 300 tourism representatives from the Asia-Pacific region as well as European countries.
