ASEAN University Delegation Visited Tianjin

From 3 to 4 December 2013, the delegation of ASEAN University Study Visit Programme to China paid a visit to Tianjin.

In the morning of 3 December, the delegation visited the History Hall of Tianjin University and got the knowledge of the 1st modern university of China. The delegation was then divided into three groups. The engineering group visited the key labs of membrane technology and sea-water desalination, the social science group visited Economic Management Institute and the general group visited Education Institute.

In the afternoon, Vice President of Tianjin University Mr. Yuan Yingjin held meeting with the delegation and briefed on the advantages of the University. The delegation had in-depth discussion with the deans of Scientific Research Institute, Economic Management Institute, Chemical Engineering Institute, Precision Meter Institute and Education Institute.

In the morning of 4 December, the delegation left for Tianjin Binhai New Area, where they visited Binhai Industrial Research Institute and held talks with the Deputy Director in charge of intellectual property rights of Science and Technology Committee.
