From April 7-10 ASEAN-China Centre dispatched a team of National Geographic Traveler (China) to Chiang Mai, to create a special feature on this north Thailand town by photographing in Wat Chiang Man Temple, Mae Sa Elephant Camp and Old Town, major tourist attractions of Chiang Mai. The Thai Boxing, Thai traditional dancing, umbrella painting, the typical local activities are also photographed. Actress Che Yongli joined the shooting, and the images shot in Chiang Mai will appear in the 12-page “FEATURES Exciting & Relaxing Chiang Mai” of the May issue. Targeting the high-end travel market, National Geographic Traveler (China) is one of the leading travel and life style magazine in China. The cooperation of ACC, NGC China and Air China will further raise the awareness of Chiang Mai among potential Chinese travelers.
