In the field of Education, ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) has been actively cooperating with the provincial education departments and related enterprises in China, amd integrating possible resources, to better promote an exchange and cooperation in education between China and ASEAN.
On 1 September 2014, Secretary-General Ma Mingqiang of ACC signed an MoU with Mr. Chen Jiquan, the Chairman of Zhejiang Yalong Educational Equipment Joint-Stock Co., Ltd. during the 7th China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week (CAECW) in Guiyang, Guizhou Province. The two sides would jointly promote an exchange and cooperation in vocational education between China and ASEAN, facilitate a development of vocational education in ASEAN. Yalong Educational Equipment company will donate to ACC educational equipments or provide training opportunities worth of 5,000,000 RMB, to support the development of vocational education in ASEAN.
Since 2013, the ACC has established a partnership with Yalong Education Equipment company, actively support the activities of Chinese vocational colleges’ ASEAN tour, organized by ACC, as well as introducing the high-qualified education equipments to ASEAN countries. Upto 2014, Yalong Educational Equipment company has donated educational equipments and provided training opportunities totally worth of 1,200,000 RMB to some of ASEAN countries.
