On 29 December 2014, Secretary-General Ma Mingqiang of ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) met with Mr. He Xing, Vice President of China Great Wall Industry Corporation (CGWIC).
Mr. He Xing said, as the only company promoting China space industry in the international market, CGWIC was committed to the international cooperation in the fields of space industry and communication, and had gained a good reputation worldwide. Next step, with the advantage in products and service, CGWIC would like to have a closer cooperation in satellite communication with China’s neighbouring countries including ASEAN, to promote the connectivity in information and related fields between ASEAN and China. In this connection, ACC’s support would be highly appreciated.
Secretary-General Ma briefed on ACC’s efforts in promoting trade and investment between ASEAN and China. He said ACC, as a one-stop information and activities center, would make every effort to strengthen the ties between Chinese and ASEAN enterprises, to promote closer cooperation.
Mr. Li Yuan, Director of Trade and Investment Division (TID) of ACC and Mr. Liu Zhiyu, General Manager of Communications Satellite Division of CGWIC were present at the meeting.
