In January 2015, Mr. Li Yuan, Director of Trade and Investment Division (TID) of ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), made a series of visits to the commercial counsellors of the Embassies of Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar and Indonesia in China. They exchanged views on how to enhance cooperation between ACC and the Embassies in the areas of trade and investment.
The commercial counsellors spoke highly of ACC’s work on trade and investment in the past three years. They hoped ACC, as a one-stop information and activities centre, could organize more business trips for the Embassies, as well as hold relevant seminars, to match the trade and investment needs and demands between ASEAN countries and China.
Director Li Yuan assumed his post at ACC in October 2014. He also visited the commercial counsellors of the Embassies of Laos, Viet Nam and Brunei last year.
