Director Li Yuan Met with Chief Representative of China’s Office, International-Thai Business Association

On 10 February 2015, Mr. Li Yuan, Director of Trade and Investment Division (TID) of ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), met with Ms. Gao Yang, Chief Representative of China’s Office, International-Thai Business Association. 

Ms. Gao Yang introduced that, the International-Thai Business Association, established in 1961, was aimed at promoting Thai international trade and benefiting Chinese-Thai entrepreneurs. The China’s Office was set up in March 2013, providing service to enterprises in both China and Thailand in the areas of international exhibition, brand promotion and information consultation, etc.. The Office would like to enhance its cooperation with ACC to promote China-Thai trade relations. 

Director Li Yuan said Thailand was an influential country in ASEAN. At present, China-Thai economic and trade relations had great opportunities. ACC, as a one-stop information and activities centre, would cooperate with the Office to strengthen ties between Chinese and Thai enterprises and promote closer cooperation.
