ACC Participated in China-Singapore Exchange Conference on Vocational Education

On 2 February 2015, invited by the Ministry of Education of Singapore, representative from ACC Ms. Sun Xuejing attended the China-Singapore Exchange Conference on Vocational Education in Singapore. The Conference was co-held by Singapore Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and the Chinese Embassy in Singapore. 3 affiliates of ITE and 7 Chinese colleges participated in the Conference and discussed on the cooperation programs between them. The representative from ACC briefed on ACC’s efforts in promoting ASEAN-China cooperation in education, as well as the achievements on vocational education cooperation, and committed to continue to facilitate the exchanges and cooperation between vocational colleges of China and Singapore. 

Since 2014, ACC has been organizing a series of activities to promote the substantive contact between vocational colleges of China and Singapore. In March 2014, ACC organized a group of delegation comprising 10 Chinese vocational colleges to visit ITE and several polytechnics, and in October 2014, ACC invited ITE to participate in the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnic (WFCP) in Beijing, as well as arranged the visits to 3 vocational institutions in Beijing.
