ACC Participated in the 12th Foreign Aid Conference to Developing Countries Organized by MOE of China

On 23 March 2015, the 12th Foreign Aid Conference to Developing Countries, organized by the Ministry of Education (MOE) of China, undertook by China Agriculture University, was held in Beijing. Over 100 Chinese universities, relevant organizations and enterprises participated in the conference. Education officer Ms. Sun Xuejing of ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) made remarks in the conference.  

The conference consisted of 5 subjects and altogether 24 representatives delivered speeches around the themes of Innovating the Construction of Network, Jointly Developing Education Foreign Aid Work with Companies and Social Organizations, “Going out” and Making Cooperative School-running with Developing Countries, Doing 20 plus 20 Cooperation Program between China and Africa, as well as China-ASEAN Education Training Ccentre Program.  

Ms. Sun Xuejing briefed on ACC’s efforts in promoting cooperation and exchanges in education between ASEAN and China, and shared working experience and achievements with other participants. The officer in charge of International Department of MOE commended ACC for its achievements, especially for ACC's 3 networks in the field of education cooperation between ASEAN and China. At the conference, Ms. Sun Xuejing expressed her appreciation to Chinese universities and organizations for their support and willingness to continue to deepen cooperation, jointly promote functional exchange and cooperation in education between China and ASEAN.
