ACC Organized a Lecture on ASEAN Community Building and New Opportunities for ASEAN-China Cooperation

On 22 May 2015, ACC invited Dr. Zhai Kun, Professor of School of International Studies of Peking University, to give a lecture on ASEAN Community building and New Opportunities for ASEAN-China Cooperation at the ACC Secretariat. Professor Zhai Kun shared his perspective on the history of ASEAN Community building, the history of ASEAN-China cooperation, opportunities and challenges for ASEAN and China to work together in the process of building a Diamond Decade as well as some suggestions on the future cooperation between the two sides.

Around 60 people attended the lecture. They were diplomats from ASEAN Embassies, students from Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) and Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) as well as ACC officials.
