On 2 July 2015, H.E. Mme Yang Xiuping, Secretary-General of ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) met with Mr. Jiang Xiong, Chairman of China-ASEAN Marine Product Exchange.
Mr. Jiang briefed on CAMPE’s efforts since its establishment in November 2014. He introduced that, as a trading platform for bulk marine commodities between China and ASEAN, the CAMPE operated by the rule of “transaction online, delivery offline and settlement in RMB”, and had a bright future. CAMPE would like to strengthen its communication and cooperation with ACC, to further promote trade and investment cooperation between China and ASEAN.
Secretary-General Yang emphasized that, as the only inter-governmental international organization co-founded by the governments of ASEAN Member States and China, ACC had been striving to promote the functional cooperation between ASEAN and China in the areas such as trade and investment. ACC would like to cooperate and communicate with CAMPE in the future.
