ACC Secretary-General Met with Vice Secretary-General of Liaoning People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries

On 6 August 2015, ACC Secretary-General H.E. Mme. Yang Xiuping met with Mr. Li Chengzhi, Vice Secretary-General of Liaoning People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.

Vice Secretary-General Li Chengzhi introduced the work priority of Liaoning People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries in recent years. He expressed that the Association was proactively exploring exchanges and cooperation with ASEAN countries, particularly in areas of industry and agriculture, and hoped to get support and assistance from ACC in this regard.

Secretary-General Yang briefed on ACC’s mandate and its efforts in promoting ASEAN-China functional cooperation in the five priority areas of trade, investment, education, culture and tourism as well as media and public relations. She appreciated the Association’s efforts in enhancing Liaoning’s cooperation with the world, particularly with ASEAN, and expressed that ACC would like to enhance communication with the Association, with a view to jointly promoting functional cooperation in relevant areas.
