ACC Secretary-General Met with Chairman of Tourism Developing Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region

On 11 August 2015, ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) Secretary-General H.E. Mme. Yang Xiuping met with Mr. Chen Jianjun, Chairman of Tourism Developing Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Mr. Chen Jianjun introduced Guangxi’s efforts in strengthening the tourism cooperation between ASEAN and China by establishing platforms such as tourism exhibition and forum, and launch the tourism talent training project among ASEAN Countries. Guangxi expected to enhance communication and coordination with ACC to promote ASEAN-China tourism cooperation.

Secretary-General Yang briefed on ACC’s mandate and major work. She expressed that ACC would strengthen its cooperation with Guangxi to support its exchanges with ASEAN, so as to work together to promote ASEAN-China functional cooperation.
