Secretary-General Yang Xiuping expressed sincere thanks to CPDA for its great support to ACC. She said that ACC and CPDA had co-organized and sponsored well-received events, such as the “Silk Road Cuisine Display-Yangzhou Week” and the China-ASEAN Hand-in-Hand Youth Foreign Languages Public Speaking Contest on the Belt and Road. 2016 marked the ASEAN-China Year of Educational Exchange. ACC would strengthen communication with CPDA and jointly promote social and cultural cooperation as well as people-to-people connectivity with a view to laying a more solid foundation for the development of ASEAN-China Strategic Partnership.
