ACC Secretary-General Met with Executive Director of CABC

On 4 February 2016, ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) Secretary-General H.E. Mme. Yang Xiuping met with Executive Director of China-ASEAN Business Council (CABC) Mr. Xu Ningning at ACC.

Executive Director Xu Ningning briefed on CABC’s mandate, its work and achievements in enhancing ASEAN-China sectoral matching, enterprise brand cooperation and Chinese provinces and cities cooperation with ASEAN Member States. He hoped that CABC would strengthen exchange and cooperation with ACC and jointly make new contribution to ASEAN-China functional cooperation.

Secretary-General Yang commended the efforts made by CABC and Executive Director Xu himself in promoting ASEAN-China economic and trade relations. She said that in 2016 ACC would conduct 19 flagship projects and a series of colourful activities to commemorate the 25th anniversary of ASEAN-China dialogue relations and the ASEAN-China Year of Educational Exchange. ACC and CABC shared similar missions to deepen functional cooperation and enhance common interests between ASEAN and China. ACC would like to strengthen communication, share experience, extend cooperation with CABC, with a view to promoting the sustained development of ASEAN-China relations for the benefit of the people.
