ACC Secretary-General Attended Welcoming Ceremony of 2016 CBPIC

On 14 March 2016, Welcoming Ceremony of China Bee Products Industry Conference and ASEAN-China Bee Product Cooperation Forum was held in Chengdu. The Conference was co-hosted by China Chamber of Commerce of Foodstuffs and Native Products (CFNA) and ASEAN-China Center (ACC). ACC Secretary-General H. E. Mme. Yang Xiuping attended the ceremony and met with Vice President of CFNA Mr. Rong Weidong.

Secretary-General Yang said that ACC and CFNA had very good cooperation in terms of promoting ASEAN-China business matching and sector cooperation. ASEAN-China bee products trade relation was very close and enjoyed great potential. She wished that by organizing this kind of activity sector communication and dialogue could be strengthened, bee products trade be promoted, mutual benefit and win-win be realized.

Vice President Rong Weidong thanked ACC for supporting the Conference. He spoke highly about ACC’s effective work and efforts in promoting ASEAN-China cooperation. He hoped to work closely with ACC and to play a greater role in ASEAN-China sector cooperation.

Representatives from International Honey Committee, International Honey Exporter Organization, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Germany, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Uruguay, Argentina and more than 30 Chinese provinces attended the welcoming ceremony.
