On 9 March 2016, ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) Secretary-General H.E. Mme. Yang Xiuping met with Rotating Chair of ASEAN Committee in Beijing (ACB) and Vietnamese Ambassador to China H.E. Mr. Dang Minh Khoi at ACC.
Ambassador Dang commended ACC’s relentless efforts to promoting ASEAN-China friendly cooperation and briefed on ACB’s recent work and future plans. He looked forward to cementing closer ties with ACC to make new contributions to boosting ASEAN-China cooperation.
Secretary-General Yang expressed her appreciation to ACB and Ambassador Dang himself for their support to ACC, saying that in 2016 ACC would conduct 19 flagship projects and a series of colorful activities to commemorate the 25th anniversary of ASEAN-China dialogue relations and the ASEAN-China Year of Educational Exchange. She expected ACB to continue its support to ACC’s work. ACC was ready to further strengthen communication and collaboration with ACB to make joint efforts to enhance ASEAN-China functional cooperation.
