Representatives of the Sixth ACCJC Meeting Visited Foshan City

On 18 November 2016, the representatives of the 6th Joint Council (JC) Meeting of ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) visited Foshan City of Guangdong Province. They witnessed the development of ceramics and building materials in the Ceramic City. At Midea Consumer Electric Manufacturing Co., Ltd., they were briefed by the management on the history of the company, the features of its products and its investment and cooperation in ASEAN countries. They also visited some historical and cultural sites in the city for a unique experience of the charm of south China.

The representatives thanked ACC for its thoughtful arrangements for the visits and activities in Guangzhou and Foshan, saying that the meaningful activities were impressive in that they got a better understanding of achievements of the social-economic development of Guangdong. Confident in the prospects of ASEAN’s cooperation with Guangdong down the road，they all expressed their readiness to render support to the expansion of cooperation.
