ACC Director Paid Working Visit to Lanzhou

From 5 to 7 February 2018, Mr. Li Yuan, Director of Trade and Investment Division of ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), paid a working visit to Lanzhou. During the stay in Lanzhou, Director Li Yuan paid a courtesy call on Mr. Li Rongcan, Member of Standing Committee of CPC Gansu Provincial Committee and Party Secretary of Lanzhou Municipal Committee, and met with Mr. Li Shumin, Director-General of Economic Cooperation Bureau of Gansu Province, and Mr. Wu Zhengyong, Deputy Director-General of Economic Cooperation Bureau of Gansu Province.

Mr. Li Rongcan praised ACC for its active involvement in China Lanzhou Investment & Trade Fair (CLITF), and thanked ACC for supporting Gansu province in its efforts to promote ASEAN-Gansu economic and trade cooperation. He hoped ACC could continue to co-host the Fair together with Gansu province and help Lanzhou to conduct economic and industrial cooperation with ASEAN countries.

Mr. Li Shumin briefed on the overall working plan for the 24th CLITF which will be held during 5-9 July this year in Lanzhou, Gansu province, and hoped ACC could set up ASEAN Exhibition Area at the Gansu International Convention and Exhibition Centre, and hold ASEAN-related activities during the Fair.

Director Li Yuan expressed that ACC has been deeply involved in the CLITF in the past three years, and has played a positive role in the economic development of Gansu province. In addition, ACC’s active participation in CLITF has also earned reputation for itself and expanded its influence. Year 2018 marks the ASEAN-China Year of Innovation. ACC, thus, will continue to support CLITF and hold relevant activities during the Fair.
