On 29 March 2018, the 60-Day Countdown Event for the Fifth China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services was held in Beijing. Mr. Guo Chuanwei, Director of Trade and Investment Division of ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), attended the event.
During the event, the organizing committee of the Fair briefed on the progress of the preparation, the exhibition plan and activity arrangements. Representative from the Ministry of Commerce gave remarks on the progress of China’s trade in services, its main features, future innovation and development and how to establish the brand of “Chinese Services”. Afterwards, the host signed cooperation documents with the participants, supporters and important organizers of the Fair.
This year’s Forum will focus on the Belt and Road under the theme of “Openness, Innovation, and Integration”. The exhibition area will be 50,000 square meters. More than 120 events will be held including the Summit on Global Trade in Services, international forums, industrial symposiums and trade fairs, etc. The aim is to build an authoritative and influential exhibition platform for trade in services in China.
