ACC Participated in the 10th International Charity Sale “Love Knows No Border”

On 21 October 2018, ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) participated in the 10th International Charity Sale “Love Knows No Border” held in the National Stadium in Beijing. The Charity Sale was initiated by Mme. Qian Wei, wife of Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi, with a theme of "Love Knows No Border-Hear Love of the World". The raised money will be used to implant artificial cochlea for hearing-impaired children in the poverty-stricken areas in Gansu Province via China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation.

During the Charity Sale, guests including State Councilor Wang Yi and Mme Qian Wei visited the booth of ACC. The products with Southeast Asian characteristics carefully prepared by ACC received warm welcome by visitors and many of were sold out quickly. ACC booth was packed with people, many of whom made inquiries and learned about the work of ACC.

According to statistics, 90 embassies, representative institutions of international organizations in China including ACC and more than 60 Chinese enterprises and public institutions were present at the event, from which more than six million RMB was raised.
