Mayor of Dezhou Met with ACC Secretary-General Chen Dehai

On 12 April 2019, Mr. Liu Bingguo, Deputy Secretary of Dezhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Dezhou, met with Mr. Chen Dehai, Secretary-General of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) and representatives of the ASEAN business community participating in the China-ASEAN (Dezhou) Economic and Trade Conference at the ASEAN International Eco-city in Qihe County, Shandong Province.

Mayor Liu Bingguo briefed on the measures adopted and achievements made by Dezhou in recent years in implementing the Belt and Road Initiative and strengthening exchanges and cooperation with ASEAN countries. He expressed sincere welcome to ASEAN entrepreneurs who have come to Dezhou to experience the city’s high-quality business environment and seek cooperation opportunities for mutual benefit and win-win results.

Secretary-General Chen Dehai said that the ASEAN International Eco-City in Dezhou benefits from the sustained and in-depth development of ASEAN-China relations and reflects the rapid development of the city’s economy and geographical advantage. ACC is ready to work with the Dezhou Municipal Government to uplift ASEAN-China practical cooperation to a new level.

Representatives of ASEAN business associations including the China-ASEAN Business Association, the Malaysia-China Business Council, the Chinese Committee of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Myanmar Chinese Chamber of Commerce, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and the Thailand Council for the Promotion of Peaceful Reunification of China, participated in the meeting.
