On 29 May 2019, Mr. Guo Chuanwei, Director of Trade and Investment Division of ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), attended the China (Beijing) Asia-Europe Logistics Cooperation Forum held at China National Convention Centre (CNCC) upon invitation.
The forum consisted of two themes, namely, “China-Europe Railway Express Development in Coordination with the Belt and Road Initiative” and “Beijing Logistics Development under the Framework of Integrated Development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region and the Belt and Road Initiative”. Keynote speeches were delivered by the heads of government agencies and international organizations including Ministry of Transport of China, CEEC-China Secretariat on Logistics, Kirghizstan Bureau of Asian Transport, Polish Investment and Trade Agency and CSCMP China.
At the forum, well-known logistics enterprises at home and abroad including the Kazakhstan Freight Transportation, Poland Gdansk Port, China International Railway Port Investment and Development, China Railway Beijing Group, Sinotrans Limited，JD Logistics, China National Medicines Corporation shared their experiences in building Asia-Europe trade and transport channel, advancing the high-quality development of multi-modal transportation, and boosting the upgrading of intelligent supply chain. They also exchanged views on the current situation and future trend of the logistics industry in China.
The forum was one of the concurrent meetings of the 2019 China International Fair for Trade in Services and was co-hosted by Beijing North Star Events and Beijing Logistics and Supply Chain Management Association. About 100 people from Chinese and foreign government agencies, logistics enterprises and financial institutions attended the forum.
