On 10 June 2019, a delegation of 35 Lao officials who were in China for the Development Aid Project Seminar paid a visit to ASEAN-China Centre (ACC). They first visited the exhibition hall of ACC, and then exchanged views with Trade and Investment Division (TID) of ACC.
TID Director Mr. Guo Chuanwei warmly welcomed the delegation and introduced the main duties and work of each division of ACC. He said that ACC is committed to promoting practical cooperation between China and ASEAN countries in the fields of trade, investment, education, culture, tourism, information and media. A series of colorful activities have been held and achieved positive results. ACC stands ready to strengthen exchanges with all sectors of Lao PDR and jointly promote the friendly cooperation to reach more achievements between China and Lao PDR as well as ASEAN and China. TID official also gave a detailed introduction of China-Laos economic and trade cooperation in recent years.
The delegation thanked ACC for its warm reception and said that ACC had made positive efforts and important contributions to promoting practical cooperation between China and ASEAN countries. This visit helped enhance their understanding of ACC’s work. After returning home, they would continue to do their work well and play an active role in friendly cooperation between China and Lao PDR as well as China and ASEAN.
