ACC Participated in the 11th International Charity Sale “Love Knows No Border”

On 27 October 2019, ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) participated in the 11th International Charity Sale “Love Knows No Border” held at the National Stadium in Beijing. The Charity Sale was initiated by Mme. Qian Wei, wife of Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi, with the theme of "Love Knows No Border-Run to a Better Future". The raised money will be used to build sports grounds for schools in Jinping County and Malipo County in Yunnan Province via China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation.

During the Charity Sale, many guests visited the booth of ACC. The agricultural and handcraft products with Southeast Asian characteristics carefully prepared by ACC were well received and sold out quickly. ACC booth was packed with people, many of whom made inquiries and learned about the work of ACC.

According to statistics, 90 embassies, representative institutions of international organizations in China including ACC and nearly 50 Chinese enterprises and public institutions were present at the event, from which more than seven million RMB was raised.
