On 13 November 2019, Mr. Chen Dehai, Secretary-General of ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) met with Mrs. Khamphao Ernthavanh, newly designated Lao Ambassador to China at ACC Secretariat. Secretary-General Chen Dehai congratulated Ambassador Khamphao on her assumption of office in China and expressed his willingness to jointly promote the comprehensive and in-depth development of Laos-China relations and the ASEAN-China Strategic Partnership. Ambassador Khamphao commended the important role played by ACC in advancing bilateral practical cooperation and exchanges and pledged continuous support to ACC in the future. The two sides exchanged views on how to implement the consensus reached by ASEAN and Chinese leaders and advance exchanges and cooperation in various fields.
