A delegation of mid to senior level ASEAN diplomats visited ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) on 13 November 2019. Secretary-General Chen Dehai met with the delegation, and exchanged views with the deputy permanent representatives of the Philippines, Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Malaysia to ASEAN, and officials from the permanent missions of other ASEAN countries to ASEAN as well as ASEAN Secretariat. The two sides discussed the ASEAN-China relations, ACC’s work and project planning, and its cooperation with ASEAN Secretariat, ASEAN-Korea Centre and ASEAN-Japan Centre. Directors from ACC’s four divisions, and Mr. Li Xin, Counsellor of the Chinese Mission to ASEAN, joined the meeting.
Organized by the Chinese Mission to ASEAN, the delegation was scheduled to visit China from 11 to 16 November, aiming to deepen ASEAN’s understanding of China and implement the outcomes of the 22nd ASEAN-China Summit.
