On 30 August, the ASEAN Culture and Tourism Online Exhibition (ACTOE) was launched on the official website of the 2020 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS).
The ASEAN Culture and Tourism Online Exhibition is co-hosted by ASEAN-China Centre and Beijing People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and has been full supported by the embassies of the ASEAN Member States in China. The exhibition takes viewers to ASEAN via “cloud” in the form of pictures and videos to enjoy splendid and diverse history and culture, breathtaking natural scenery and unique folk customs of the 10 ASEAN Member States. The embassies of Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines and Thailand also participated in the Country Image Display.
The year 2020 marks the 53rd anniversary of ASEAN and 29th anniversary of the establishment of dialogue relationship between ASEAN and China. The ACTOE is held within the framework of the Belt & Road Culture and Tourism Promotion Exhibition at 2020 CIFTIS, with a view to introducing the culture and tourism resources of ASEAN Member States, enhancing mutual learning and promoting common development.
