On 19 September 2020, a delegation consisting of representatives from the United Nations (UN) and other international organizations stationed in China visited Great Wall Motor (GMW). GWM Rotating President Mr. Meng Xiangjun, Vice President Mr. Liu Xiangshang, Vice President Mr. Fu Xiaokang and Vice President Mr. Song Dongxian accompanied the visit. Mr. Wu Yabin, Director of Investment and Technology Promotion Office (Beijing) of the UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), representatives from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in China, Management Center of United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in China, World Food Programme (WFP) in China, and ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) joined the visit.
Mr. Meng Xiangjun gave an overview of the global layout of GWM, and relevant persons in charge sharedmore details on the overseas development of GWM and the information of key products with the delegation. In return, members of the delegation also explained the work of their respective organisations, including major overseas development projects, and lauded GWM’s participation in international cooperation.
The delegation also visited GWM Xushui Smart Factory and HAVAL Technology Center.
