ACC Attended the 2021 Indonesia Business Investment Forum

On 27 May 2021, the 2021 Indonesia Business Investment Forum was held online. Under the theme of “Seizing opportunities: Food Processing Industry in Indonesia”, the forum was jointly hosted by the Consulate-General of Indonesia in Shanghai and the Bank Indonesia (BI). About 150 people attended the forum, including representatives from the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), government bodies, business associations and enterprises of China and Indonesia.

Mr. Djauhari Oratmangun, Ambassador of Indonesia to China and Mr. Dody Budi Waluyo, the Deputy Governor of BI, delivered opening remarks. Representatives from the Ministry of Investment of Indonesia, BI, Indonesia-China Chamber of Commerce, Indonesian Food and Beverage Industry Association, and Shanghai Council for the Promotion of International Trade respectively briefed on Indonesia’s economic development, investment environment, current situation of foreign investment, development of food processing industry and China-Indonesia economic and trade cooperation.
