On 12 July 2021, Mr. Chen Dehai, Secretary-General of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), and Mr. Wang Yongli, Secretary-General of China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on behalf of the two sides respectively. Both sides will establish a long-term communication mechanism and strengthen ties to further promote all-around and practical cooperation in the field of education and boost people-to-people exchanges between ASEAN Member States (AMS) and China. Mr. Arianto Surojo, Director of the Information and Public Relations Division of ACC, and Mr. Yu Yougen, Deputy Secretary-General of CEAIE, attended the signing ceremony.
