Opening Ceremony of the International Training Workshop on Construction and Management of Intelligent Port Successfully Held

On the afternoon of 28 March 2022, the opening ceremony of the 2022 International Training Workshop on Construction and Management of Intelligent Port was successfully held. Dr. Yohanes Surya, Special Advisor to the Coordinating Minister for Maritime and Investment Affairs of Indonesia, Dr. Madan B. Regmi, Officer of the Transport Research and Policy Section of the Transport Division of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, and Dr. Sun Yuqing, President of Dalian Maritime University (DMU), attended and addressed the opening ceremony online. Mr. Yaya Sutarya, Education and Culture Attaché of the Embassy of Indonesia in China, and representatives of the Education, Culture and Tourism Division of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) attended the event.

This workshop is hosted by DMU, while ACC participated in the preparation and implementation as the supporting agency. A total of 72 trainees from 14 countries, including Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar and Viet Nam, will participate in this 14-days online training from 28 March to 11 April, which covers management experience, digitalisation development and big data technology in the fields of ports, logistics, maritime transportation and shipping industry.
