From 29 to 31 March 2022, the Indonesia-China STEM Cooperation Briefing co-organised by the Embassy of Indonesia in China and the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) was successfully held. Representatives of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology and the Ministry of Maritime and Investment Affairs of Indonesia, Mr. Yaya Sutarya, Education and Culture Attaché of the Embassy of Indonesia in China, representatives of the Education, Culture and Tourism Division of ACC, and directors of relevant departments and colleges of Peking University, Tsinghua University and Zhejiang University attended the event online.
Participants exchanged views on recommending excellent Indonesian students for their bachelor degrees in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) majors at well-known universities in China, strengthening collaboration on STEM education and promoting people-to-people exchanges between Indonesia and China.
