ACC Representatives Attended the NACT Seminar

On 7 April 2022, the seminar on ASEAN Centrality and ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership was held by the Network of ASEAN-China Think Tanks (NACT) online. Ms. Wang Hongliu, Director of the General Affairs and Coordination Division (GACD) of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) and officials of ACC attended the meeting. Mr. Xu Jian, President of China Foreign Affairs University, Mr. Pou Sothirak, Executive Director of the Cambodian Institute for Cooperation and Peace, and NACT representatives from China and all ASEAN Member States (AMS) attended the seminar and gave remarks or presentations. About 100 participants from the region and beyond joined the event online.

The seminar was co-organised by the Cambodian Institute for Cooperation and Peace and China Foreign Affairs University. NACT representatives exchanged views on the important role ASEAN plays in regional mechanisms and ways to strengthen ASEAN centrality, and made suggestions for promoting the sustainable development of ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
